When Jay DeMerit stepped onto the field to represent the United States at the 2010 World Cup it was truly an incredible moment. Jay had literally come from nowhere just years prior to being on the world's greatest stage.

This story may be about Jay but it is really about having a goal and never giving up. It is a film that anyone with a dream should watch.

There will be a $25 donation for the event. Proceeds will go to help underwrite production and distribution of the film. Each donor will also get two $5 drink tickets and access to some movie snacks.

Get up Saturday morning decked out in your most patriotic stuff. We’re talking flags, banners, hats, horns, kits, facepaint, tats EVERYTHING AMERICAN (except jean shorts, that is.)

Head to SmallBar Division (2049 West Division) at 8:30 am. You don’t have to show up that early to take part in the rally, but BE THERE BEFORE THE GAME KICKS OFF AT 1:30! The rally will be taking place outside on the patio where the good folks at SmallBar will have 50′ LCD’s with match audio for the game.

It’s supposed to be sunny out, so we’ll be keeping you cool with a beer tub on the patio selling ALL-AMERICAN canned brews: $4 Bud Pounders, $4 Schlitz tallboys, $3 PBR, $5 HalfAcre Gossamer, $5 Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi and $5 Fat Tire!
